The City of Highland Park is excited to announce that it has been awarded a nearly $1 million grant from the Community Foundation for Southeast Michigan (CMF) and the Michigan Department of Natural Resources (DNR) to make major improvements at Ives Field.

Planned upgrades include:

  • A new playscape for children and families

  • Pickleball courts

  • Renovated baseball fields

  • New sidewalks and tree plantings

As part of the grant requirements, the City has issued Requests for Proposals (RFPs) for the project. The RFPs will also be published in the Michigan Chronicle, on BidNet, and other outlets.
